Pace-Maycock family genealogical notes, 1622-1945.

The collection consists of genealogical notes by Maud McClure Kelley tracing her descent from Richard Pace (fl. 1622) and Samuel Maycock (d. 1622) of Virginia including a Bible record, (1823-1945) of Richard Bussey Kelly of Talladega County, Alabama, abstracts of deeds, land grants, and letters; a transcript of a letter written by Barnabus Pace (b. 1789) between 1844 and 1850 concerning the genealogy of the Pace family of Edgefield County, South Carolina, including many who were members of the Baptist Church, and also containing his religious thoughts and anecdotes of the American Revolution. The letter is annotated by Maud McClure Kelley. The collection also contains genealogical notes concerning Samuel Maycock, whose daughter Sarah married George Pace of Charles City County, Virginia, and some of their descendants, especially in North Carolina.
